Google Business Profile work for Aurora businesses that want the map pack
The map pack is most of local search in a town the size of Aurora, and it is the fastest asset to move. Keyo takes manager access, corrects the setup, then runs the profile weekly: posts, photos from Aurora jobs, review replies and the questions section.
Trusted by growing businesses from the GTA to Los Angeles and Dubai
Most of Aurora local search is the map
Three profiles sit above the organic results on an Aurora phone screen, and those three are chosen by activity rather than by age.
Type restaurants aurora at 450 searches a month into a phone and the map fills the screen before a single website loads. The same holds for dentist aurora at 200 searches a month, physiotherapy aurora at 200 searches a month and furnace repair aurora at 200 searches a month. Three profiles take the tap, the call and the directions request. A business on Wellington Street East that is not one of those three competes for what is left, and in a town this size what is left does not keep a crew busy.
The first decision is which kind of profile you have. A cafe at Aurora Town Square or a clinic on Yonge Street is a storefront, so the address shows and proximity does some of the work for you. An electrician who loads the van at a house in Regency Acres and drives to Newmarket and King City is a service area business, so the address stays hidden and the towns you cover are what Google reads. After that it is relevance: primary category, secondary categories, every service named the way Aurora customers say it, and a description in plain words rather than trade language.
Ranking is not one number, which is the part owners find hardest to accept. A profile pinned in Aurora Village ranks one way for a searcher standing in Bayview Northeast and another way for one at Bloomington Road, because proximity is measured from the searcher. We scan a grid of points across the town in Local Falcon so the report shows where you hold and where you vanish, rather than a single position pulled from one spot. Then we work the inputs that shift it, the engagement and recency Google puts a date on, and the prominence that comes from reviews and citations.
So the profile runs as a weekly job. A post goes up each week tied to the article published that morning, a batch of photos from real Aurora jobs is uploaded monthly with proper file names, the services and products sections are kept current with what you actually sell this season, every review gets an owner reply, and the questions section gets watched. Owners come looking for exactly this, with google business profile management at 70 searches a month and local seo aurora at 40 searches a month beside it. Plenty of them cannot tell us who set the profile up in the first place.
Profile work we carry every month
Neighbourhoods and towns we build pages for
Dashed pills are neighbouring towns usually worth their own page. Richmond Hill and Newmarket both out-search Aurora on most trades.
What the searches look like
Real searches from Ahrefs, Canada, monthly. The full list comes from Search Console and keyword research in the first month.
What turns up when we open an Aurora profile
Six things we see on profiles from Aurora Village out to the Hills of St Andrew, and what each one needs.
“Nobody here knows who created our listing, and the email on the account belonged to a guy who left.”
The fix. That comes up more than owners expect, and it has to be settled before anything else is worth doing. We claim the profile properly, get the old manager removed, and put ownership in a Google login you control while we work as a manager. Meanwhile the listing gets documented as found, because an unclaimed Aurora profile usually carries edits from strangers that need reverting.
“We run out of a house in Aurora Highlands and the map has been pointing customers at our driveway for years.”
The fix. A trade working from home is a service area business, so the address comes off the map and the towns go on: Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, King City, wherever the van actually goes. A visible residential address sends people to your kitchen door and breaks Google's rules for service area listings, which is one of the reasons profiles get pulled. We correct the setup, then mirror it on Bing and Apple.
“Our primary category was set to contractor and the work we want is windows and doors.”
The fix. The primary category is the strongest relevance signal you control, and a broad one buries the work you want. We set it to the job you are chasing, add secondary categories for everything else, then fill the services list item by item and use the products section where there is something to show. An Aurora installer on the right category stops fielding calls about gate hinges.
“We have plenty of reviews but the newest one arrived two summers ago and you can tell.”
The fix. Google reads dates, and so does the person choosing between three clinics on Yonge Street. We set up a request that goes out by text as soon as the job or the appointment closes, with a link straight to the review box, then write an owner reply for each one naming the service and the part of Aurora it happened in. A slow steady flow beats a pile from two summers back.
“Somebody answered a question on our profile with the wrong hours and that answer is the one showing.”
The fix. Anybody can answer a question on your profile, and Google shows whichever answer has the most votes rather than the owner's. We post the correct answer from the owner account and upvote it, then seed the section with what Aurora customers actually ask: parking near Aurora Town Square, whether you come out to Vandorf, whether you take new patients. After that it is checked weekly.
“The profile vanished a week after we moved to Industrial Parkway North and we have no idea why.”
The fix. A move is the usual trigger, because the new address on the profile no longer agrees with the website, the directories and the registration. We find every place the old address still lives, correct it, collect what Google asks for, a lease, a utility bill, a photo of the signage, and file one complete reinstatement rather than three rushed ones. While it sits, the site and the listings get cleaned.
Nine pieces of the profile, every month
All of it inside the profile you already own, and every piece of it reported on monthly.
Category and attributes
Primary category matched to the work you want, secondary categories for the rest, and the attributes Google offers your kind of business, from accessible parking to emergency service, set on the first pass.
Service area setup
Storefront or service area decided by how customers reach you, towns set to where the work actually happens, Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill and King City, and the same choice mirrored on Bing and Apple.
Services and products
Every service listed by name with a starting figure where you can give one, the products section filled where there is stock to show, and a description written the way Aurora customers speak.
Weekly posts
One post a week tied to the article published on the site that morning, with a photo, covering finished work, a seasonal service, a new hire or a change in hours.
Monthly photo batch
Real photos from Aurora jobs and premises every month, renamed before upload, with the cover image swapped for the season. Crew phone photos do more here than stock library images.
Review flow
A text with the direct link when the job closes, an owner reply on every review naming the service and the neighbourhood, and a calm written approach for the angry one.
Questions section
Seeded with what customers ask before they phone, answered from the owner account and upvoted, then checked weekly for new questions and for wrong answers left by strangers.
Grid scanning
A Local Falcon grid across Aurora each month, so you can see where the profile holds and where it drops away between Aurora Village, Bayview Northeast and Bloomington Road.
Profile reporting
Calls, direction requests, website clicks and the search terms that surfaced the profile, inside the five part report beside what we changed and what comes next.

Sequence, not a promise. What actually gets built first comes out of the first-month audit of your site, your Business Profile and the businesses already ranking in Aurora.
Numbers from businesses like yours, not from a slide deck.
Every figure below is pulled from Ahrefs, Google Search Console or Local Falcon and dated. Read them, then ask to see the accounts.
Titan Walk-In Coolers
A Mississauga refrigeration company with zero page-one rankings in June 2024. Keyo built the service and city structure and ran the Google Business Profile as a live channel.
Ahrefs figures are third-party estimates. Search Console and Business Profile numbers come from each client's own Google account. Local Falcon scans the map pack from a grid of points around the business.
First we find the holes. Then we fill them.
Most of what is costing you calls is already on your site. We audit what exists before we add anything, and we verify a restorable backup before we touch a thing.
Four steps from inquiry to the phone ringing.
No slide deck, no twelve-month contract. A one-page scope, a verified backup, then the cleanup and the build, reported every month in five parts.
Every week, every account
Articles publish Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m., each with a matching Google Business Profile post.
- Search Console review and keyword movement
- Indexing issues caught and resubmitted
- Internal links added to new and money pages
- Urgent technical fixes, same week
- Google Business Profile activity check
We read it properly.
Your website, your Google Business Profile and the businesses already ranking in Aurora, Richmond Hill and Newmarket, before we reply. If we are not the right fit for your market or your stage, we say so and point you somewhere better.
A 30-minute fit call.
What is costing you calls today, what we would fix first, what we would build after that, and what it costs. Straight numbers, no slide deck.
A one-page scope, then access and a backup.
What we fix, what we build, what we report each month, and the monthly figure. Website admin, Google Business Profile, Search Console and analytics access, then a backup taken and verified before anything is touched.
Cleanup, build, report.
The site stops leaking calls first. Then the service and town pages, the profile rhythm and the schema. Every month: baseline, work completed, what moved in search, what it did for the business, next action.

What is the map pack and why does it matter in Aurora?
It is the map with three business listings that Google puts above the organic results for a local search. On an Aurora phone screen those three fill the view, so for something like restaurants aurora at 450 searches a month the calls and the direction requests are spoken for before anyone scrolls. Fourth place is close to invisible. The three are picked on proximity, relevance, prominence, engagement and recency, and four of those five are things the profile itself controls, which is why we start there.
Should my Aurora business be a storefront or a service area profile?
If customers come to you, a restaurant at Aurora Town Square, a salon on Yonge Street, a clinic on Wellington Street West, you are a storefront and the address belongs on the map. If you drive to them, plumbing, heating, cleaning, landscaping, mobile repair, you are a service area business: the address stays hidden and you list the towns, Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, King City. A showroom on Industrial Parkway South with crews on the road does both, keeps the address and adds the area.
Why does my ranking look different depending on who checks it?
Because proximity is measured from the person searching, not from your front door. A profile pinned in Aurora Village can sit in the pack for somebody standing on Yonge Street and drop out of it for somebody in Bayview Northeast or up at Bloomington Road. A single rank check from one spot tells you very little. We run a Local Falcon grid across Aurora instead, so the monthly report shows the shape of your visibility across the town and which parts of it the work is moving.
How often does a profile need attention?
Weekly, and that is a description of how Google reads recency rather than a sales line. The rhythm is a post every week matched to the Monday, Wednesday and Friday articles, a photo batch each month, an owner reply on each review as it lands, and a weekly look at the questions section and at any edits Google has suggested. An Aurora profile that goes quiet through a busy season hands the pack to whoever kept posting, and that is usually the newer business.
Can Keyo recover a suspended Aurora profile?
Usually, and the work is dull rather than clever. In Aurora the causes we see are a move that left the old address on the website and in the directories, a service area business showing a house, a category that does not match the business, or a name stuffed with search terms. We find the cause, correct it everywhere it appears, gather the documents Google wants, and submit one complete reinstatement. Nobody can promise a date on Google's own review of it, so the site and the listings get kept clean while it is pending.
What does Google Business Profile management cost?
Profile work sits inside a Keyo engagement, which starts at $2,500 a month, month to month, with no setup fee and no long term contract. It is not sold on its own, because the weekly posts need articles to point at and the reviews need pages that convert the click. Before quoting we read the profile, the website and the businesses holding the Aurora pack in your category, then hold a thirty minute fit call and send a one page scope. A five part report lands monthly.
Every trade and service, one page each.
