From zero page-one rankings to found across the Golden Horseshoe.
Titan designs, installs and relocates walk-in coolers and freezers from Mississauga. In mid 2024 the site ranked for nothing. Today it holds 114 page-one keywords, appears in 76 of 81 map points across a 43 mile grid, and this case study brought Keyo a client in Dubai.

Ahrefs figures are third-party estimates. Local Falcon scans the map pack from a grid of points around the business. Client-side numbers come from Titan's own Google accounts.
A wide service area with almost no search presence.
Titan Walk-In Coolers builds, installs, relocates and removes commercial walk-in coolers and freezers for restaurants, grocers, butchers, florists, warehouses and cannabis cultivation across the GTA and Southern Ontario. Strong reputation, wide footprint, and a website that Google did not know what to do with.
Competitors held Toronto, Vaughan, Hamilton and the Golden Horseshoe. The site had a handful of pages, the copy and schema still described a service model the company had moved away from, and the schema pointed at a street address the business had vacated.
City-level demand for walk-in coolers is too small for keyword tools to measure. That meant every page we built needed a real demand signal first, or it would earn nothing.
What was in the way
- No city or vertical pages for a business that serves a whole region
- Copy and schema that still sold the old positioning
- A service-area business with a vacated street address in its schema
- Orphaned pages with no internal links, and live pages missing from the sitemap
- City-level demand below what keyword tools can measure
What we corrected before we built anything.
Titan had changed what it does. The website had not caught up, and Google was ranking it for the wrong things or not at all. The first pass was positioning, schema and structure.
Positioning scrub
Old-model language removed from copy, headings, schema and posts. One premise across the whole site: builder and installer.
Schema for a service-area business
Street address and coordinates removed, locality and region kept, one valid LocalBusiness on every page.
Orphans linked, sitemap corrected
Every published page given inbound links from the hub and city pages it belongs to. Stray http links and missing pages resolved.
The demand signal rule
No new page without Search Console impressions, Business Profile data or competitor evidence behind it. Zero-demand pages earn zero clicks.
City pages, vertical pages and a blog that Google now cites.
City pages across the GTA and Golden Horseshoe
Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Brampton, Scarborough and more, cross-linked at build time so none of them start as orphans.
A 40-page restaurant city layer
Thirty pages live in three waves, built for the one vertical with confirmed search demand, with the rest gated behind the same rule.
Vertical pages with a demand signal
Grocery stores, florists, outdoor units, cooler and freezer doors, and commercial refrigeration installation, each built only once the data justified it.
The Cool Blog
Guides on sizing, temperatures, DIY versus built, and cold storage practice. One is now cited in Google's AI Overview for walk in freezers.
Three articles and three profile posts a week

Three articles and three profile posts a week.
Articles publish Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m., each with a matching Google Business Profile post the same day. Job-site photos texted from the field become profile posts and portfolio images.
Scheduled is not delivered. Every page is submitted to Google the day it goes live and checked at its public URL the day after.
Page-one keywords, from zero to 114.
Ahrefs counts the keywords a site holds in positions one to ten. Titan had none in mid 2024. It crossed 100 in March 2026 and holds 114 today, with 33 of them in the top three. Below it, the searches that bring quote requests, and the map-pack grid that matters more than any of them for a service-area business.

Ahrefs organic keywords, Canada, September 10, 2026. City-level searches sit below Ahrefs' volume floor, which is why the map-pack grid is the truer measure for Titan.

Only where the data says to build.
Vertical pages continue one at a time, each gated behind Search Console demand. Business Profile work moves to reviews, citations and weekly photos from the field, and the pages already live get the internal links and indexing requests that turn a published page into a ranking one.
