A new website, from zero to 556 Google clicks a month in seven months.
Kolji Bros. Electrical is a family-run, licensed electrical contractor serving Toronto and the GTA. In November 2025 it had a strong review profile and no search presence. Keyo built the site, published a service-by-city structure with plain-language cost guides on top, then cleared the technical debt a 395-page build creates. Monthly Search Console clicks went from 76 in January to 556 in July 2026.

Search Console figures are the client's own, read through the Ahrefs connector. Ahrefs keyword counts are third-party estimates. Audit counts come from Ahrefs Site Audit crawls before and after the cleanup.
A five-star reputation with nowhere to send it.
Kolji Bros. Electrical does panel and 200 amp service upgrades, EV charger installation, knob-and-tube and aluminum wiring replacement, fuse box conversions, lighting and 24/7 emergency work across Toronto and the GTA. Customers name the electrician in their reviews, and there are a lot of reviews. A 5.0 rating on Google, and nothing on Google to send it to.
In November 2025 there was no website worth ranking. Keyo built one on Squarespace: seventeen services across twenty cities and neighbourhoods, roughly 395 pages, with a set of plain-language cost guides on top for the questions people actually type. What a panel replacement costs. What an EV charger installation costs. What rewiring a house costs.
A build that size creates its own technical debt. By June 2026 the site was already earning clicks, and the crawl showed 90 dead URLs, 30 orphan pages, 314 titles too long for the search result and schema errors on 245 pages, all of them template problems repeating across the matrix. Fixing the template fixed the site.
What was in the way
- No website to speak of, and no organic presence at all
- Seventeen services and twenty cities with three competing slug patterns for the same service
- 90 dead URLs and 30 orphan pages left behind by the programmatic build
- 314 titles and 229 descriptions long enough to truncate in the search result
- Schema validation errors on 245 pages from one JSON-LD template bug
- Local pages with thousands of impressions and zero clicks
What we cleaned up once the site was earning.
The cost guides were already ranking by spring. Rather than pile more pages on, the summer went to the foundation: dead URLs, orphans, titles and schema, fixed at the template and verified by a fresh 512-URL crawl.
Dead URLs and redirects
90 404s cleared with verified redirects, 129 redirect mappings normalized to direct HTTPS, and redirect chains collapsed.
Orphans and the sitemap
The sitemap rebuilt with direct links to all 394 live pages, so no page depends on a single internal link to be found.
Titles, descriptions and headings
Sitewide titles shortened to fit the search result, missing H1s and the blog H1 template fixed, priority page metadata and image alt text repaired.
Schema and duplicate heads
Corrected business schema published, malformed JSON-LD fixed, and duplicate document heads removed from five custom-code pages.
Cost guides that rank nationally, city pages that rank locally.
Plain-language cost guides
Panel replacement, 200 amp upgrades, EV charger installation, whole-house rewiring, knob-and-tube and generators. Now #1 for electrical panel replacement, ev charger installation ontario and knob and tube wiring replacement cost.
Service pages for every city and neighbourhood
Panel upgrades, EV chargers, rewiring, breakers, lighting, smoke detectors and emergency service across Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York, Milton and more, on one slug pattern.
A blog that answers the next question
Twelve articles a month on decision and safety intent: 100 amp versus 200 amp, panel upgrades for EV chargers, knob-and-tube and home insurance, how long a panel upgrade takes.
Google Business Profile as a channel
A matching profile post for every article, scheduled thirty minutes after it publishes, and reviews answered as they arrive.
Leads that land somewhere
The website form connected to a shared lead spreadsheet alongside the email notification, so no inquiry depends on one inbox.
Three articles and three profile posts a week.
Articles publish Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., each followed by a Business Profile post at 9:30 with the same image and a link back. Both are checked live the day after.
Scheduled is not delivered. Every page is submitted to Google the day it goes live and checked at its public URL the day after.
Page-one keywords, from zero to 77.
Ahrefs counts the keywords a site holds in positions one to ten. The domain did not exist before November 2025. It crossed 20 page-one keywords in March 2026 and reached 77 in July, 37 of them in the top three. Search Console tells the same story in the client's own numbers: 76 clicks in January, then 194, 353, 442, 492, 545 and 556 through July.

Before and after, from Kolji Bros' own accounts.
Search Console figures read through the Ahrefs connector on September 10, 2026. Audit counts from Ahrefs Site Audit crawls in June and July 2026. Nothing here is a mock-up.
January 2026. The first full month with the new site indexed: 76 clicks and under ten thousand impressions.
July 2026. 556 clicks, seven times January, with impressions peaking at 85K in May.
The bill for a 395-page build. All of it template-level, which is why one fix could clear hundreds of URLs at a time.
One month later. Every 404 and broken canonical cleared, titles shortened sitewide, schema corrected, and the whole site recrawled to prove it.
The city pages are the next lever.
The cost guides brought the first wave. The commercial searches, electrician toronto, emergency electrician, panel upgrade toronto, still sit on page two and three, and they are the ones that book jobs. The work now is one strong page per core city, de-duplicated and properly linked, with the article and profile cadence continuing underneath.
